Transport Planner
Pertemps have an excellent opportunity to join our client Kuehne and Nagel as an Import and Export Transport Planner working on a brand new Automotive contract they have won. This role presents the successful candidate an opportunity to join a global business during a period of growth and also develop your career in planning.
Working Hours / Shift Pattern:
+ Monday to Friday
+ 9am to 5:30pm
+ 37.5 hours per week
+ 1 hour lunch break
The successful Transport Planner Must Have:
+ Previous experience in a fast paced Transport and Logistics Operation
+ Ideally had European planning experience
+ Be comfortable with Microsoft Excel
+ Strong communicator on email, phone and in person
Your duties as a Transport Planner will include:
+ Track and coordinate shipments from the EU to UK.
+ Monitor vehicle and shipment movements using TMS systems.
+ Escalate critical operational issues and and implement recovery plans.
+ Work collaboratively with other Transport Planners and Customs team.
Hourly Pay is:
+ £28,000 to £30,000 per annum
+ Increases yearly based on performance reviews
