I’m recruiting for several Senior SOC Analysts to join a growing SOC in Farnborough, supporting defence and national security environments.
You’ll investigate complex incidents, hunt for threats and help improve the detections and processes the team relies on. These roles would suit experienced analysts who enjoy following an investigation through and taking ownership when things get challenging.
 
What you’ll be doing

• Investigating and triaging complex security alerts across SIEM, EDR, network traffic and log data
• Supporting incident response, containment and escalation
• Threat hunting using MITRE ATT&CK and knowledge of attacker techniques
• Developing and tuning detection rules, use cases and playbooks
• Producing clear incident reports and sharing findings with colleagues and stakeholders
• Helping improve the SOC’s capability and effectiveness

 
What you’ll bring

• Strong experience in a SOC or security operations environment
• Hands-on SIEM skills across Sentinel, Splunk, Elastic or similar
• A solid background in incident investigation and response
• Confidence analysing endpoint, network and security logs
• Good networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, DNS and HTTP
• Experience with EDR, firewalls, IDS/IPS and wider security tooling
• Sound judgement around prioritisation and escalation

 
Location, shifts and clearance
These positions are fully on-site in Farnborough, working a 24/7 shift pattern, with a shift allowance paid alongside your salary.
 
You must be eligible to obtain DV clearance. British citizenship and the required UK residency history are essential (last 10 years spent in the UK), with eligibility subject to the vetting process.
