Annual Salary - £40,000 to £44,000
Mon to Fri - 7.30am to 4.00pm

We are recruiting for a Major Packaging company based in the heart of the black country area and looking for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their long standing, successful team.Job Profile:

• Supporting continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
  
  
• Working closely with production teams to achieve operational targets.
  
  
• Ensuring all maintenance activities are carried out safely and in line with company procedures.
  
  

Skills & ExperienceThe successful candidate will have:

• Previous experience maintaining, repairing and troubleshooting industrial or production equipment.
  
  
• Strong mechanical knowledge, alongside a working understanding of electrical and pneumatic systems.
  
  
• Proven fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
  
  
• The ability to prioritise workloads and respond effectively to breakdown situations.
  
  
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  
  
• Flexibility to work overtime when required.
  
  
• A willingness to travel internationally on occasion.
  
  

Desirable:

• CNC milling and/or lathe machining experience.
  
  
• Experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
  
  
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement techniques.
